Follow the Country Roads to Blue Ridge Winery on Friday, September 15th for a night of good ole' country music performed by Ted Vigil as John Denver!
Thank God for this Country Boy, Ted Vigil is bringing the uncanny likeness of John Denver right to your back yard. Ted is a singer, songwriter, and tribute artist. He was born in Seattle WA and raised in the Olympia area. He has been performing since the age of ten in concert, symphonic and jazz bands developing his talents as a singer and drummer.
In 2006, Ted went to Laughlin, NV to compete in the Talent Quest contest and took first place with his uncanny portrayal of John Denver. He now wows crowds all over the country and has twice played for John Denver’s own “Windstar Foundation” in Aspen, CO. Ted also performed with the late Steve Weisberg, John Denver’s lead guitar player from the 70’s who said “Apparently the audience thinks they all look and sound like John. I don’t see it. I see it with Ted. A very strong physical resemblance….. Uncanny!” (King 5 Evening News Magazine clip) Last year Ted toured 20 cities in Australia with the Kings of Country Tour with a Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and John Denver tribute. Ted is currently touring the country performing with his new tribute to John Denver which includes video, stories, and the best of John’s songs at performing art centers, casinos, and theaters. Ted was awarded the Rising Legend Award by the National Traditional Country Music Association in 2012.
The night will start off with the delicious tastes of a back home country style buffet from 5:30-6:30pm provided by Aces Gourmet Catering. Buffet menu to be posted once we receive it from Aces Gourmet Catering. The dinner show will then promptly start at 6:30pm. Ticket price of $90pp includes the dinner and tribute show. Wine, beer and soda will be available for purchase and is not included in the ticket price.
This event is rain or shine and will be held in our Grand Tent. Tickets are non-refundable.
